Level and Game Design
My journey with Genfanad began with a primary focus on Level Design and Map Design. Having successfully fulfilled all planned levels for the main continent of the game, I was granted the exciting opportunity to delve into broader Game Design responsibilities, including Systems, Gameplay, and Combat Design. This transition marked a significant milestone in my professional growth, equipping me with invaluable insights and skills crucial to thriving in the dynamic world of game design.
Genfanad was released in an Alpha state for a year to consumers where we were delivering weekly content quest and balance updates all of which I was a part of, after the year we had come to the conclusion due to our waning numbers that the world was not in need of a direct competitor to Runescape classic and started our rework of the game into a TCG style strategy game with a similar focus to our prior idea,
